Fajr and Isha at high latitudes
From 8 May to 4 August the sun in Polyane never sinks 16.0° below the horizon, so the twilight that defines Fajr never fully ends.
For Isha (15.0°) this happens from 12 May to 31 July.
On those dates Fajr and Isha are estimated with the angle-based rule: the night is divided in proportion to the twilight angle, e.g. 18/60 of the night for 18°. You can choose another rule in the calculation settings.
Prayer times by calculation method, 8 November
Mosques use different twilight angles for Fajr and Isha, which is why timetables in Polyane can differ: today the earliest and latest Fajr are 36 min apart, and Isha differs by up to 42 min.
