How prayer times are set in Yelets

In Russia the spiritual administrations of Muslims publish timetables for their regions. The Hanafi Asr is the norm in most of the country; in Dagestan, Chechnya and Ingushetia most Muslims follow the Shafi‘i school.

The times on this page show when each prayer begins. Congregation times are set by each mosque, so check them with the mosque you attend.

Prayer times by calculation method, 8 November

Mosques use different twilight angles for Fajr and Isha, which is why timetables in Yelets can differ: today the earliest and latest Fajr are 33 min apart, and Isha differs by up to 28 min.
